Background Design

These are some collage background designs I made for the film I am currently working on Etiquette for the Becoming Lady as producer, set in the Victorian era. They were made using coloured card, printed photos I took at the Victoria & Albert Gallery and textured paper.

3D Max

This is Ted, a character I designed using 3D Studio Max. It was a good opportunity to experiment with my building skills and to work with textures.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World

I saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World in the summer last year at the cinema and I loved it. The film featured stills from the original comics and it immediately led me to read them.

This is a caricature of my self in the style of the Scott Pilgrim illustrations.

White on Black

This was inspired by graphic designer Nani Serrano & The album cover for Ellie Goulding's 'Lights'.
This was inspired by Parra and the lyrics from the song 'Undercover Martyn' by Two Door Cinema Club one of my current favourite bands.

Greenwich & Canary Wharf

This was taken in Leicester square last summer at the Salt film premiere. I went with a group of friends, we hoped to get a phtoto with Angelina Jolie but unfortunately her car drove right past us! I like this photo because its quite chaotic, the way everyone is trying to get a good view of the actress even those eating lunch in Mc Donalds.

My favourite children's book illustrator and someone I am heavily influenced by Nick Sharratt, this particular book is one I loved as a child because it was very weird and funny. To me it sums up what Nick Sharraat is all about...fun.
