Sympathy card for a friend

Recently a friend of mine received some sad news.

I made her a card and asked some her friends to put some messages in it just to let her know we are thinking about her.

I didn't want to make a typical sympathy card with the generic photo or drawing of a tree but I wanted something which would convey more love and comfort.

As a Christian the greatest source of love and comfort to me is the Bible.

So I found this scripture from Revelation 21:4

  God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.

It's a very powerful verse and it seemed like it was so relevant to my friend's situation  I wanted it to be the main focus of the card
